As promised in my previous post, I am now presenting the first post in a set of two about my mini survival kit. Before going into the details of the kit, I would just like to say that this entire process has been a very fun one. It has been a few years since I have thought about things in the manner I have been the past couple of days. This process gave me the time to think about the different things that I could possibly need if I were to have to live without aid or outside resources for a time. With that in mind I set forth to create a mini kit that would be useful for a fairly short amount of time. Possibly one to two days at most, as it has no food sources or shelter elements.
